Pass B.I pass SPM

Struggle for success..(grabbed from mamak)

salam semuanya..morning everyone! waa...i heard about discussion over Tv few days ago,our new Edu minister,Tan sri Muhyiddin Yassin was surprised to learn that English is not a “must pass” subject for SPM,SPM English...student should must pass?and he wants public feedback.so here is mine..(this is my 1st post in BI,allow me to apologize for all grammatical errors..kui3)

hmmm..to be frankly, it's a good idea to highlights this out, but...realistically ( is that a correct word?), this couldn't be done.i've got a little experience teaching in rural area @ kampung...i'd used to teach them Etems(English for Teaching Science and Maths) 2 weeks before i get into Sciense syllabus, and i can see they have a problem to learn in English.their environment won't let them to feel free to practising English. i'm not good enough too in this language but i've to practice so then i can teach them succesfully.so i've to improve my English.

but then it's not a big problems for students in 'kampung' to learn English.why do i say so?Creativity..yeah..its all about how teacher delivers the content to students.and i thought students in rural areas are more attracted to multimedia and fun learning.We need more rural teachers of English,Maths and Science,who are competent as well as confident in the language(paatz? 50-50..=p) Besides, it's turn back to student's aptitude,whether they are pushing the will or not.

Paatz,so you are agree to make English as a prerequisite to pass SPM?

Hmm..not really...like malay quote, "macam termakan gunting...nak dikeluarkan sakit,telan pun sakit." outside of city, it seems not everyone can get a good access in technology.Furthermore, many youngsters couldn't pratice speaking with their family in home.(includes me).Plus, many of them are doesn't like English language.

so how about you?agreed?not?just kongsi with me...and let the Minister shocked for the second time..ngee

p/s- thats would happen if our ministry always changing,without knowing their departments well..kui3..
